The '20V Max' SKIL 3480 is a brushless cordless reciprocating saw and part of the SKIL ‘brushless XP’ range. ‘XP’ tools deliver exceptional performance and durability, thanks to their high specifications and advanced digital brushless motors. Like all other SKIL ‘20V Max’ cordless tools, this model is powered by the industry-leading, advanced ‘PWRCORE 20™’ battery and charger technology. Brushless SKIL 3480 is the ideal tool for tough sawing applications, such as demolition cutting, shortening beams and tree trimming. With its large 29 mm stroke length, it has a very high sawing performance and the orbital action switch enables even faster cutting if needed. The advanced double counterweight construction (‘VRS’) makes sure that, despite its high performance, the vibration is very low. The digital brushless motor delivers more power, more efficiency and a 10x longer lifetime than a comparable brushed motor. Good visibility of your work is assured thanks to the LED light. Changing blades has never been easier thanks to the ‘Clic’ system, which doesn’t require any special tools or keys. For your convenience, the design is suited for convenient hanging of the tool. Furthermore, the adjustable foot position allows you to use the blade more efficiently. Last but not least, the softgrip on the tool ensures convenient working. The SKIL 3480 FA is supplied in a carrying bag with one saw blade for wood, one saw blade for metal and one saw blade for pruning. The battery and charger aren’t included.
